"This was a great find for us. It's quiet and it of the way. Peaceful and set in rice paddy fields whilst only 10 minute walk to the Indo/StarMart or Babi Guling. Our 3 room villa had a private pool, small kitchen and dining area. TV facilities weren't connected until we asked. Restaurant area is nice and affordable. Decent variety. "Perfect stay ! We booked 2 nights and finally stayed 4. The house is made of recycled materials and it's very well made with a lot of cachet. Solar energy for the nights. Your are in the middle of the jungle and ricefields. 15 minutes walk to the village. The surrandings are amazing and the people too. Adi the owner did everything he could to welcome us even if he is in recovery. With the help of Komang who took time for us and Adi's sister who cooked amazing balinese breakfast. Beautiful...

"An all around great experience. We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. A perfect example of how well they take care of their guests was when we had to have our dehumidifier replaced because it wasn’t working. It was done very promptly and to make up for the inconvenience (and it really was hardly an inconvenience at all!) they gave us a voucher for both of us to have a full Balinese massage which was heavenly. Can’t recommend Munduk Moding Plantation enough. "

"Such a wonderful villa! The ladies were wonderful and cooked all week for us, as well as kept the place nice and clean. The food was amazing and they were so sweet. My only issue was a group of young locals who would hang out by the ocean/pool area most nights who ended up stealing some things of ours. It was the same little group in their teens/early 20’s that would be there every afternoon into the evening. The first few days of our stay they hung out at the villa beside us, but then moved on to our area kinda overtaking our pool area and just sitting there for hours, two of them practically making out and all over each other. But that wasn’t the fault of the staff there by any means. "

"The place and the resort are amazing, but the main drawback is that the toilet is located outside the room in an open space. This setup is particularly inconvenient at night. Similarly, the shower is also in an open area, which adds to the discomfort. Dinner is served in very small portions—especially the rice, which was limited to just two tablespoons. Aside from these issues, the location itself is lovely."
