"Excellent Hotel with lots of amenities and a wonderful onsen/ sauna. Great location for catching the 20 minute ferry to Miyajima island which is a beautiful, must visit. Going to peace museum is a lot more of a trek / train ride but it’s not too bad. Highly recommend!"

"When we arrived to check in at the hotel, there was already a different customer in the room. When we went back to the main lobby, we had to wait in the lobby for over an hour before the staff got us a room. They did not provide updates either. They just asked us to wait. "The reception is on the 14th floor. Staff are mixed with some very friendly and some indifferent and shouldn’t be working in hospitality. The cleanliness is fine although far too much bleach is used the problem is with state of the bedrooms with numerous (too many to count) stains on carpets and headboards. It’s quite frankly appalling for any hotel but especially one purporting to be of 4 stars. N.B. we’re not blaming the cleaners here but questioning the managements inability to check rooms. The team and hotel lack generosity and penny pinch at every opportunity. You are given a drinks voucher at check - please note this is for a half a small beer or a half measure 75ml of wine in a plastic cup. N.B. The hotel charges for changing of sheets. We also noted that the restaurant is doesn’t accept bookings for dinner but when you turn up all the tables/slots have been reserved. The standard of bathrooms and and bedding was average. Without question the worst hotel we’ve been too in years and certainly the worst in Japan. "
