“We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony. The unit was very clean and we had all the necessary amenities to use that made for a comfortable stay. Full kitchen, living room with TV and Foxtel, balcony etc. The unit is handy for the local shopping mall and train station to the city. It is also a good gateway to Puffing Billy, Healesville and the Yarra Valley by car. We checked in and out outside of normal reception time and it was a very easy process with great instructions. “Room was ok nice and clean. Shower was really good. Parking the car is a bit hit and miss. Had to park away from the room. Not a big deal as we didn’t have much luggage and only stayed one night. Overall it was ok.”

“This hotel is a home for displaced individuals, there were permanent residents in rooms that were not even one star quality. I did not even sleep there as I did not feel safe and instead booked a different motel down the road. My intuition was correct as when I turned up the next day I saw the reception front windows had been smashed in overnight. Definitely avoid this hotel”

“It’s very dated and gives domitory style accommodation. Walls are very thin and I could hear everything in the next room and corridor. I could hear a man in an adjuscent room snore the whole night. Staff are not available onsight after-hours. I had to walk a very long way from my room to get hot water/tea and use the microwave which is in the common room, because the taps closest to me were broken. My room was full of ants and the bathroom tiles are brown with stains. Bed not so comfortable but……
