"We had a fantastic stay at the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed from start to finish. The rooms were incredibly comfortable—uniquely decorated, clean, and a perfect place to relax. The recently remodeled rooftop bar and dining area was a real highlight. The food was delicious, the cocktails were creative and refreshing, and the atmosphere made it a lovely place to unwind. The hotel also provided us with a walking guide of the city, which turned out to be the perfect way to explore Cirencester’s charming streets and historical spots at our own pace. We will definitely be returning. Well done to the whole team at the Kings Head!"

"Good points. Well signposted, easy to find & access directions supplied & followed. Apartment was …tired, although we only booked to provide sleeping , as we had days out planned, the kitchen has all equipment provided to create any meals with a good size fridge & freezer however when we turned the oven on thick smoke poured out, needs a good clean!Plates had to be washed before we could use them. No complimentary extras I.e milk, that other owners have provided. Bathroom- shower was either scolding hot or tepid, mould on the hose which could be easily remedied. When you turn on the hot water , in kitchen or bathroom, there is an awfully loud noise, which im sure neighbouring residents didn’t appreciate at 6am! The bed was suffice, all in all wouldn’t use again as there are much better & cleaner places. "

"This is my second stay at wild thyme and honey, this time with my mum and it was just perfect. The service is great and they go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious too. "

"The location, the staff, and the hotel were perfect for our last two nights in the U.K. On hindsight, I should have reserved a bigger room as the bed was full size and a little snug for two. We did request to change it and to our surprise we slept pretty well. The breakfast was excellent (lots of food) and the outdoor seating area and inside pub were very nice."

"Charming hotel in the center of Cirencester with friendly staff. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. Note that there is no A/C but there was a fan in my room that kept things pleasantly cool. There is no lift so rooms may not be accessible for everyone (but they can help you carry your suitcases to the room). The bathroom has lovely amenities (White Linen) but be careful getting into/out of the tub as it can be slippery. Breakfast is available in the dining room with multiple tasty hot options and a nice cold buffet with cereal, juice, yogurt, fruit and pastries. Coffee & tea are also available in the rooms. (I suggest making coffee in your room since the coffee served in the dining room is mediocre; this was really the only negative of the stay). We had dinner one night in the pub/restaurant and it was very good with plentiful vegetarian options."

"The Old Brewhouse offers a lovely garden which, in June, is in colorful full bloom. The garden is such a wonderful spot to sit, relax, read, or just mellow out in a beautiful environment. If there is rain, there is also a comfortable indoor space with large windows facing out onto the garden in which to sit. Our room was comfortably appointed and included a mini-fridge which we used to store yogurt and cheeses for lunch —and to chill a bottle of white wine. Breakfast is delicious with perfectly prepared eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, hash browns, et al. — all the elements of a full English breakfast. There is even an option for smoked salmon which I enjoyed immensely. The staff is delightful and can make recommendations on things to do and local places of interest. The Old Brewhouse is also conveniently located, just a few minutes walk from the center of Cirencester. I highly recommend The Old Brewhouse."

"If you are visiting Cirencester, this is an amazing place to stay. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, I stayed in one of their deluxe rooms and it was amazing. They have a great restaurant and bar attached to hotel and the outdoor area is peaceful and relaxing. The piano bar on Friday Saturday nights is great entertainment! The staff are really friendly but not intrusive. Location is perfect, walk into city center in 10 mins and easy driving access to any POI. Definitely come back if I was in area. "Very Basic, a table would have been ideal. Clean. No lift. it was a very quick nightout but only needed a clean bed and shower and I was very happy with the conditions. Overall good night sleep. The only minus is it take a while to find the location as Google maps does not display it correctly. I think they should put proper instructions in their confirmation email. Instead they only focused about Parking. Actually between 6pm -8am there is free parking at Old Station Car Park."

Perfectly placed for visiting different places in the Cotswolds.We were disappointed that access to the table tennis room was not granted, despite being advertised in the pictures - we were not notified of this before we enquired during the stay (upon which we were informed that it required wiring works)"

"The Railway View carriage was just delightful! It is small but perfectly set up. Not much storage for clothing but we managed. Perhaps a few more hooks to hang things would be useful. I especially appreciated the tea and coffee necessities after our long drive. We didn't want to leave!!"
