  • Come and have a mini vacation in Sautee Start Line, a mountain cabin with views only few minutes from Helen GA.
    The cabin sleeps 6 in real beds, two bedrooms with King and Queen beds, loft has another Queen size bed, sleeps additional 4 in queen size sofabed and futon. The view from upstairs is a great one to wake up to. Two small bathrooms with showers. Fully equipped cabin has hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, Wii-console, Playstation 3 with racing seat and steering wheel, HDTV, surround system, and more.
    The renovations were just finished and you can take advantage of kicking back in practically new surroundings. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and appliances. If you don't like to cook every meal, there is a nice cafe and couple of home style- and breakfast serving restaurants within a mile from the cabin. Hot tub under the stars without the city lights makes an excellent place to watch night sky! Cabin has wireless 80+ mb verified speed internet for fun and work. Linens, towels and starter amounts of toiletries are included. The cabin has Netflix for those days you have exhausted yourself with area outdoor activities.

The gravel road getting to the property was horrible to navigate especially for three ladies traveling together. The pictures of the property did not represent the way the property looks from the outside. We were disappointed. The inside was better, it was clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Cabin was very cute and fit just what we needed for our trip to Helen, GA. It's about 20-25 minutes from anywhere you want to go around the Helen area. Hot tub was nice and clean. Some places around the cabin (light fixtures and vents) could use a good deep cleaning but overall cabin was clean and tidy! Driveway can be a little rough in spots, but we just took our time and didn't have a problem at all! Our only "complaint" would be the beds are very squeaky! They are comfortable but every turn you make can be noticed. Supplies in cabin were very nice and plentiful! You are nestled nicely in the woods so if you go in summertime be prepared for some bugs and bring spray so you can enjoy the porches! Overall very nice place to stay and peaceful surroundings with Helen just hop, skip, and a jump away!

Everything was perfect ! Under 15 minutes to anything ! ! ! The house was very welcoming ! Had deer walk through the front as we were bringing our luggage in. Firepit was set up when we got there. Gas fireplace in livingroom really set our evenings.

It's a quiet spot, conveniently located for everything we wanted to do. However, the hot tub is obviously old and has been patched. Also, some of the jets do not work. Also, it is completely uncovered. It rained for a lot of our stay and was unusable because of that.Hammock also old, dry rotted and unsafe. Fire pit is on a slight slope of a bank, and trees are right above it. Downstairs bathroom very cramped. Door opens right in front of toilet and there is no room to properly clean yourself-walls on both sides. The stove is a gas stove. The beds are very comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. You can sign into your Prime account on the TV as a guest and it will automatically sign you out when your stay is over. My husband is a smoker and did not smoke inside but when it rained, there was nowhere for him to smoke. It could use some kind of awning or umbrella table. Water pressure in shower is good but the hot water took a while. Also, some long range bee spray would have been nice. The peace and privacy outweighs the negatives. Great for the price.

Great Location

The home was so welcoming. As soon as we walked in we were relaxed. Each night we fell asleep to cicadas and woke up refreshed! The beds were extremely comfortable and we fell asleep almost immediately. We will be back!
