Learn more about Clarkesville

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this charming town invites you to explore its quaint downtown and nearby natural wonders. Hike the scenic Panther Creek Trail or browse unique local crafts at Mark of the Potter and Hickory Flat Pottery.

On my way down from the mountains I stopped at Tallulah Falls, a place I had never visited even though it very well known in Georgia.

What I wasn't expecting was the hike. On paper it looks like a mile round trip; in reality it is 1,200+ stairs round trip! It was worth it though with this fall color.
