“The cabin was as described. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. We even sat out in the hot tub after dark and it was the perfect end to our day of driving and visiting Shipshewana.”

We loved the location - right in the walkable heart of historic Hillsdale - and the apartment itself was great fun to stay in: two whole floors, well-stocked pantry, comfortable beds, fun decor. Beware if you can’t manage stairs - there are two steep staircases here! The building is also old and a little quirky, but we loved it.”

“Great place for our weekend trip. Location right downtown Marshall was perfect and walkable to everything we wanted. The loft had huge beautiful windows and ample space. Nice spot overall!”

“We appreciate the cleaniness. We would recommend a couple things. Allot 2 bath towels and washclothes per day. The rental agreement states to wash the towels on the final day and run the dishwasher. There was no dishwasher or laundry equipment. The checkout instructions did not apply to this studio apartment. Warm regards, Deanna”

“From CJ, to the accommodations, to the wonderful small town USA, I loved my trip! The apartment has everything you need for a restful trip. I loved the hot shower with the awesome water pressure. Parking next to the unit was certainly a plus. In fact there are no negatives I could assign to CJ’s place. It’s super quiet, but close to anything you would need from town. CJ was very responsive and a wonderful host. If I am ever in the area again, this will definitely be my first choice.”

“This was my second time to stay at this property. I gave only 4 stars for this stay (the first was five stars) because the apartment was not quite as clean as the first visit. The rooms were generally clean, nut the floors and microwave were not quite as clean. It is a great location, and a nice place to stay overall, and I will certainly try again.”

“I needed a comfortable place to stay for a few nights. My days were packed so it was really just a place to lay my head. I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The unit had a completely functional kitchen and it was very clean. It’s an old building renovated into separate apartments, buts it’s very functional. Floors were uneven in places but that’s expected in such an old building. Bathroom was clean and there was great water pressure in the shower. I will stay here again.”

“House was clean, back deck was awesome and garage was an added bonus on rainy days. Kids loved the golf cart, sand pit and corn hole. Kitchen was fully stocked and beds were comfy. Swim area was a little too weedy for the kids but we took our boat to the sand bars. Hope to be back next year.”

“We love this home !! There are 12 of us that vacation together each year . There is 2 kitchens, and 3 full baths plenty of room. We love the decks neighbors are vary nice, in a area that is kind of privet , if you like Antiques a short drive to Allen MI is a lot of fun . Lots of good places to eat , good fishing great boating all around Beautiful Experience !!!”
