"Exceptional! My sister said it best, it felt like we had stepped in to a Hallmark movie. The loft is beautiful, accomodations are high end and plush and our host Ashley was responsive and accommodating. We were spoiled with a welcome gift basket of treats and items to pamper ourselves filled with items from the Mercantile downstairs so we were able to purchase our favorites. Ashland is a gem and everyone we came in to contact with was kind and incredibly proud of their hometown. That pride is evident everywhere you look. Fantastic locally owned bakery, coffee shop down the street. Lots of independently owned, unique small businesses made it a pleasure to shop locally but never felt "small". We even took in the Husker Volleyball game and Big 10 football championship at the local American Legion with plenty of televisions and lots of fun. We walked back to the loft at the end of the night and snuggled in. We can't wait to come back next year."
