Hotel Colorado

"Hotel Colorado was magical! The staff was amazing. If you love a historic hotel and all it's beauty this hotel is for you. It's also walkable to everything in town! It doesn't have a gym..but who needs a gym when you have the mountains at your doorstep?! It is a very short walk to Yampah Spa which is a MUST if you visit Glenwood Springs. The Vapor Caves at this spa is an experience everyone should have. Right past this spa is a bike trail which I took along the Colorado River to hike Hanging Lake Trail. The restaurant on site had great food and lots of variety. I visited in August 26th. Can't wait to go back! GO! NOW! :-)"

"The room was clean but did have a bit of an old smoke smell to it. However, great location, it was clean and spacious. We opened the windows and doors and most of the smell worked its way out."

"We had a great family stay at the Ranahan. We were taking part in events in Leadville and it was a really good base to return to from that. The kids loved the pool and we appreciated the hot tubs! It was also great to have the kitchen to be able to cook for ourselves around our schedule."

"The hotel itself and room we stayed at was a bit dated, but was clean. The bed was comfortable and had amenities we needed. Our room specifically had an issue with the door handle though, so it was a pain to go in and out of the room. Hotel breakfast is standard fare, good for something quick. Overall a good value hotel."
