“The cabin was clean and nicely decorated, and the manager was kind and quick to respond. Unfortunately, the furniture was very uncomfortable—the sofa was difficult to sit on and the beds weren’t any better. There were also an overwhelming number of rules, repeated in emails, a binder, and a pamphlet. I even had to strip the beds and take all the linens to the laundry room myself. I had to empty all trash and take it to the curbside trash can. I could not use the dishwasher. All dishes had to……

“Staff was very friendly. But, first room had dead bugs in the floor, and looked like someone had just left it. Second room I was moved the was filthy, including a pubic hair covered shower. ”

“Everything was great except the hot tub jets are broke. Could tell girl knew but said oh no, kinda like Mac Donalds ice cream machine. Hopefully next time it will be fixed for real.”

“There was a used towel on the bed when we arrived. The rooms have an odd smell, and so do the pillows. Otherwise it was an okay stay. The bed was very comfortable.”

“This place is very cute. The hosts are welcoming and had a little basket of snacks, which we enjoyed.We were a party of 4 adults and 3 medium dogs with plenty of space!The pond and gazebo area is fantastic. The ducks come right up to you! There are so many turtles and fish and you can feed them!Plenty of towels, hand soap, and blankets as well. The beds are comfortable and have lots of pillows. Lufkin is a cute small town with plenty to do and this is a good location!”
