There were several “iffy” looking men chilling outside that made me a bit weary (I’m a petite 5’ woman traveling on my own) other than that and the fact that I didn’t get shampoo, I had a very calm and pleasant stay. The room was quite clean, spacious, everything worked perfectly, and I got a good night sleep to continue my trip. The room was very nice and clean. They are remodeling the motel and work equipment is around but neatly stored. The owner eas very adamant about not smoking in the room which was fine with me. When he asked if I had a pet, he asked "Are you sure?" which irritated me as if I was lying. In his defense, he said he had been lied to about that in the past. I wouldnt recomend unless it was cheaper. Office was a mess, couldnt find my reservation. They were "remodeling", but i think thar was an excuse for the mess. Too small and restroom was not finished. It was run down and had all kinds of stuff "stored" on the covered area by the rooms. I know they say they are remodeling. The office was a disaster and couldn't find our paper work at first. Room had a pile of dirt behind door - pile. Mice woke us up crawling on our luggage. Bathroom was remodeled and looked fairly clean. We left very early the next morning - couldn't wait to get out of there. I know the price indicates there are no frills but I thought it would be cleaner.
