Absolutely wonderful house!
Our girls trip could not have been better, the house sets on Lake Huron in a quiet neighborhood. We were amazed at the barges and it was so fun to watch them as they glide by the house. We loved the kitchen, roomy enough for all 4 of us to work on dinner preparations. Beds were very comfortable. We all agree that this would be house we would rent again!

Relaxing Week
My husband and I stayed a week with our two teenage daughters. The house was perfectly set up and meticulously clean. We enjoyed watching the freighters go by (even saw a cruise ship one night!) and spent our evenings by the fire. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve ever had.

Wonderful Experience!
This house was exceptional! It was clean and well stocked with all the necessities of home. We had 4 adults and 2 children in our party with plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the large deck and watching life on the water. The kids enjoyed the beach area, perfecting their stone skipping skills. We would definitely recommend it and would love to stay again. Our stay was wonderful. The property exceeded our expectations! We are already booked for next year. Enjoyed watching the freighters right off the deck. Also enjoyed bike riding, taking walks, and visiting with past friends of ours. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need and very clean as well!

Beautiful setting
Everything about the house was great. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. The bedrooms were clean and neat. The whole house had a very welcoming atmosphere. We loved the decor. Very beautiful view in a nice quiet neighborhood. Loved watching the freighters go by in a beautiful location for a fantastic sunrise. We came to the area to paddle the Les Cheneaux islands and hike some of the local preserves. We weren’t disappointed and look forward to returning. If this location is available, we would love to stay there again.

A lovely view along the shores of the St. Mary's
We loved the shoreline view through the long sliding glass doors or off the back deck, watching freighters chugging down the St. Mary's River or the hourly ferries shuttling back and forth to Drummond Island. The spacious galley kitchen was marvelous with sliding drawers in the roomy cabinets. The home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac which makes for quiet sleeping through the night. Definitely a repeat destination.

Secluded Paradise
What a great place to stay and completely relax! You have neighbors, but you wouldn’t know it! The view is spectacular from the minute you walk in. The large sliding glass doors provide a water view from the living room, dining room & master bedroom. The fully stocked kitchen was great to prepare meals. We spent a lot of time on the large deck that stretches the length of the house as well as at the fire pit down at the water. Definitely plan to come back. Perfectly appointed to do nothing but relax and watch freighters sail by! Thank you so much for sharing your little peace of paradise with us!

Excellent property
Very clean, spacious house, free from an abundance of clutter. Communication with Amy (local housekeeper) was fast and efficient. We did know the house had no A/C but we would recommend screens on all windows that open. Perhaps blackout curtains on sliding doors and adjacent windows to keep out heat while on day trips and the house is closed up? The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was very useful. Would be good in the other bedrooms. The view out back is lovely, either just looking and listening to the water, viewing the huge bulk carriers and occasional cruise ship and not forgetting the local chipmunk and birds. Very restful! No complaints about the beds, very comfortable. Had all the equipment we needed to make meals although the Brit amongst us could have done with an electric kettle! Having the use of the garage was an added bonus for unloading/loading. Enjoyed Mackinac Island, would recommend the horse drawn tour and Mooners ice cream. Soo Locks, Whitefish Point Lighthouse and Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Tahquamenon Falls. Don't forget the pasties! Scenery was nice on Drummond Island but didn't really cater for visitors without ATVs.

Lovely views
The pictures do not do the view justice. It was wonderful to watch the ships pass and see the sunrise over the water. The house was very clean and well cared for. There was a king bed in one of the rooms that was supposed to be two twins. It wasn't a big deal as we had someone in our party cancel last minute, but if they had come it would have been nice to know. The kitchen was full of dishes and spices to make it convenient when cooking meals. The larger grocery stores are at least 30-60 minutes away but there is a small shop in town to get a few things as well. Wish there was more toilet paper and garbage bags in the home but everything else was stocked well. It was a relaxing getaway with family and we would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely place with lovely view
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property and the view is fantastic. The freighter watching was one of our favorite parts, and the free phone app MarineTraffic helped us look up info on the ships passing by. This is a great place to stage day trips to Drummond Island too. We did find it a bit odd to be asked to both wash our towels and transfer to the dryer before leaving (I don’t like leaving a dryer running due to fire risk, and this ask required us to all be showered and done using towels with enough time to wash them before a 10am checkout). Would suggest changing the request to just placing all towels in the machine and leaving the washing and drying up to cleaning crew. Note also: The property has two bonus beds above the garage but the bathroom access for those rooms is down a set of stairs and through the garage to the house.

Within 30 minutes to pontoon rental, wonderful hiking, and Cedarville. The Soo is 50 min drive to the Locks, and Lake Superior State University. Sunrises were spectacular.
