"Spent 2 days here. Great staff all around and amazing staff that works the breakfast rush on Easter weekend. Location 100% for transportation from trains, rails, and busses. In fact, it was a walkable distance from Holland America terminal to hotel. "

"The room was clean and tidy and there was plenty of room. The shower was very good and the ensuite shower room small but good. Downsides were noise from the road traffic late at night at the weekend, narrow uncomfortable single beds, soap ran out in the bathroom and was not replaced, TV did not work (said no-one registered in the room). "This is a semi-automated hotel; staff is generally not in the building. The automation is iffy--the check-out kiosk in the lobby couldn't find our reservation by last name or by reservation number. We finally had to call to check out. On the plus side, the rooms were very clean. On the minus side, there is a large and poorly placed pillar next to the bed, which makes getting in and out of bed a chancier proposition than it should be. The location is excellent--maybe 150 meters from the central train station. Important note: This isn't the hotel's responsibility, but Google Maps will navigate you (even for walking directions) to the parking lot in the *back* of the hotel rather than to the far more convenient *front* of the hotel. "

"We will not stay here again.. The nos: no phone, no garbage bin in the room, and no tissues. The Internet could not run the TV - local stations come in and out. The bathroom was dark (no mirror light) and, unfortunately, smelly. Worst. There was a closet or something next door and one wall of the room curved in. There was less than a foot between the bed and the wall. I have a picture I'd be happy to post. The location is excellent and the staff are more than good. However, the room we stayed in was awful. "Not sure why there are some negative reviews, we had an excellent stay. We stayed in a deluxe studio, and it was great. Very modern, everything we needed and more, comfy and huge bed, lovely bathroom, staff were very friendly, it was very quiet and nice and clean. This hotel deserves more than it's current rating of "Good""
