This place is far better than any website could tell - besides its amazing location, views, design - Maleia and Tim are the ones who made our stay here unforgettable - they make you feel home away from home (and that’s not just a phrase) our stay was just far too short - if we ever have a chance to come back to Talkeetna this will be the place to stay no doubt

The effort put forth by Tim & Maleia was above and beyond making sure your happy, fed good breakfast, laundry done for you, fire built for you, history of the area. Lend you a car or electric bikes, just endless effort to make your stay wonderful!

Denali room was absolutely beautiful for family of 5 with fantastic view of mountains. House manager was excellent in communication, making recommendations on hikes, where to eat and what to avoid. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Will go back if in the area again.

My husband and I felt felt right at home and was happy with the hostess Maleia and her doggie Freija. We were asked about dietary needs for breakfast and confirmed what you wanted to eat and time for the next day. It didn’t feel good one of the days and it was nice to have a comfortable bed and private area to sleep. Would recommend this place to others and we would come back for sure 😊

This inn is very charming, immaculately clean and has beautiful views. The innkeeper, Malea, is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and afternoon cookies are wonderful. I just can't say enough. We will definitely be back.

Such a quaint relaxing house! The host was amazing with a delicious breakfast cooked every morning and fresh baked goods available though the day! Apparently this home has the most amazing views of Denali but unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy the days we were there. I highly recommended!

The property is impeccably maintained and pristine, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and cozy, ensuring a restful stay. Maleia, our host, truly made our visit special with her warm spirit and hospitality. Her breakfasts were delicious and a great way to start each day. The attention to detail and personal touch made our stay unforgettable. Without a doubt, we would choose to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, we’ll kept. Furnished beautifully. Breakfast was great. Freya the pup was awesome and friendly. The mountain was fogged in but if it hadn’t been the large window would have provided a birdseye view. Private bath with fluffy towels. No TV and you are not permitted to wear shoes in the house. Take slippers.
