“I’ve stayed in many Vrbos/AirB’s all around the world. This rental made it to my top 3 list, simply because it has everything you could ever want. It’s truly a hidden gem and thats great for anyone who already knows about the charm that Lubec has. The home itself was extremely clean. The kayaks were easy to use, and you can’t beat the view of the sunrise every morning out the windows. Especially if you sleep upstairs in the loft like we did. I’m telling you straight up, there isn’t a better……

“We had a wonderful week at Bog Lake! Beautiful location, so many thoughtful touches throughout the cabin and property, quiet and peaceful! ”

“The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn”

“Great place to get away from it all. Remote and stunningly beautiful. Great amenities for enjoying the outdoors. Loved the firepit at night, eating outdoors, and the closeness to the water. Loved exploring the bay area at low tide finding sea creatures. Contact Captain Matt's for getting good deals on fresh lobster. The cabin fit my family of 10 great. We hope to come back again.”

“No code was ever sent to check in, the cabin was just unlocked. Not used or cleaned in a while. Spider webs everywhere. 2 half dollar size spiders in the tub. No wifi. No curtain on door right by sink to brush teeth etc. Zero privacy. Not even a checker board or newspaper to occupy kids. No fan in bathroom made it very steamy, and could barely change in the tiny shower/toilet area. Screw actually sticking out through wall in these rushed together cabins. Unless you want to get the bare bones,……

“Nice wood cabin, in a beautiful spot. There's was no wifi (it wasn't a surprise but it's rare and would be nice to add..) There was nothing to do with the TV because there was no cable to. Bed matress where confortable and it was nice to have 6 places for the kids. There was many spiderwebs and the cleaning could be better. ”
