“The property was beautiful and the host was very attentive”

“Have been waiting on a refund from host for over a week. He has been contacted by VRBO & Expedia multiple times without response. I was not going to leave a negative review but the host has left me no choice. We arrived at the property on check in day to a *very strong* odor of moth balls. At first we thought it had just been closed up for a long time & that it would decrease with air circulation. Within 15 minutes, my headache was so bad that I ended up vomiting. “Beware before you book. We got there and were told she had double-booked, leaving us nowhere to stay. Unfortunately, VRBO isn't the easiest to reach. I still haven't received a refund for a place I didn't even stay at, and VRBO doesn't even have a customer service email. ”
