What a beautiful place! The decor and architecture were fantastic, the room comfortable, and the staff attentive. A calm oasis that is also very convenient to downtown. Would 100% stay here again.

It was absolutely beautiful! It was so homey and comfortable, you felt like you were staying at an old friend’s house. It was ridiculously convenient to a lot of major venues. The innkeeper was so helpful and made my later check in very simple.

Unique place from the 19th century, well kept. Great location to sport and concert venues and downtown Detroit. Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast. Rooms are spacious (including the bathroom. Just a fascinating place to stay!

This place is a gem in the middle of downtown Detroit! It is so close and walkable to downtown and in a safe area. The inn itself is clean and rooms are nice. I was expecting much more of a variety for the continental breakfast. But all in all. I would highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.

A very charming 1877 mansion. Very clean and well maintained. Within walking distance of Comerica Park, Ford Field, Fox Theater, The Fillmore and many restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

No air conditioning on this old house but they supply a nice fan and it was very comfortable. Room was clean, breakfast was good (community dining table, bagels, yogurt, fruit cup, cereal, that sort of thing)

Fascinating property, filled with antique charm. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The architecture of the building was wonderful, with many of the old details retained and cared for. Location was convenient to downtown events. We hope to return someday and see what else is added.

There isn’t an option to adjust the temperature of your room other than a fan. Would’ve loved the ability to turn the temp down a few degrees. Shower is big with many shower heads but needs some directions on how to function and water did not get as hot as I prefer. But honestly a lovely property, lots of charm, great staff, super clean, easy parking, wonderful pantry.

What an unexpected surprise. We were going to see Lionel Richie at Little Caesars arena and wanted to stay overnight to enjoy the evening. The hotel is a short walk to the arena. The rooms were large, clean and had everything we needed. Parking in the parking lot is also available for a fee. Definitely a great place to stay.

If you are going to a Lions or Tigers game, you can't beat the location. Easy to walk to either stadium or the downtown area. The property is a beautifully restored mansion.
