“Wow—what a fabulous stay. From the moment we checked into our woodland escape lodge with hot tub, the sense of luxury was clear throughout. The double walk-in shower, deep freestanding bath, mood lighting, and plush bathrobes all added to the experience, with everything thoughtfully provided for a relaxing break. “Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good.”
