Summary:
Tucked high up on Union Pass, the cabin overlooks the Dunoir valley and the Absaroka Mountains. Listen to aspens, enjoy the solitude, and savor 3 private forest acres with abundant wildlife. This is the prefect basecamp to explore nearby wilderness areas, national parks, and national forests. It is a scenic drive over Togwotee pass to the Tetons and Yellowstone with the restaurants and museums of Dubois only 20 minutes away. Winter ski in/out snowmobile, cross country, and snowshoe.
The Space:
Warm Spring Mountain Cabin is a cozy log cabin with wood burning stove and electric heat.
Beds: Bedroom 1, in the loft, has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has a full size bed. There is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Cooking: the spacious kitchen is well furnished with electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, and plenty of cooking supplies.
Linens and toiletries are provided.
Guest Access:
There is ample parking and space with nearby small RV and trailer parking for your summer or winter toys. The cabin is accessible on a well maintained gravel road. 4 wheel drive is not needed during the dry months of summer and fall. 4WD and possibly chains required for winter access.
The Neighborhood:
The cabin in located in a beautiful and tranquil area with wonderful views of the Dunoir Valley, Absaroka Mountains, and Badlands.
Getting Around:
The cabin is located on a gravel private road that is well maintained. The neighborhood roads offer great place to walk, mountain bike, and snowmobile.
Other Things to Note:
Free WiFi is available & cell phone coverage.
The cabin has a cistern with clear and fresh mountain spring water. Please conserve water while staying in the cabin.
Winter Access: When the snow accumulates, you may need to park up to 1/5 mile away and snowshoe, ski, or snowmobile into the property.
