On check in, I was asked what time I wanted my 'full English' - not ideal being held to a time. Full English didn't have standard bacon - it was non pork Turkish bacon which I should have been told about. I only ate half the breakfast, and I was only offered the cooked breakfast (with some fruit and toast). Bed……

“A Perfect Anniversary Getaway! We just returned from a wonderful stay here to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn't have been more perfect. “We would have rated the Castle excellent if we had slept better, but having a room on the busy main road made that difficult…we could imagine that another back room was much quieter. But the atmosphere was nice and both dinner and breakfast freshly cooked and well-presented were all enjoyable.”
