Had absolutely everything we needed was quiet and serene yet not remote. A quick 15 minute ride into downtown Galena. Fair enough a way to avoid crowds on a holiday weekend yet quick and easy to get to town. Loved seeing the steer on the lawn/pasture above and below the cabin. We had a tiny issue checking in, but the property manager was very responsive and took care of it right away. We spent most of our time on Mainstreet in Galena but were only a short drive from Dubuque as well. We will definitely stay again. The only downfall I noted…there was no air conditioner.
