"The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful nature all around. The house was very clean, had all the amenities of home (tv in each bedroom and living room!), and was very cozy. We enjoyed sitting in the porch in the morning drinking our coffee and watching the birds. Our 2 small dogs loved the huge yard and enjoyed their time investigating every inch. "We stayed at this property for a weekend. It was in a perfect location for us to ride our bikes to the Virginia Creeper Trail and go to nearby restaurants. It has everything we needed for our short stay. Thank you!"

"We spent the week hiking along the Appalachian Trail. The house was located close to any number of hiking trails and plenty of great restaurants at the end of the day. Johnson City was a delight. We would strongly recommend the Crooked Carriage House."

The house was well stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and neat. "Just back from a spring getaway to beautiful Roan Mountain. This was our second stay at Kim and Art's lovely mountain cottage. Had a great time hiking with our dogs, who loved being off leash at the property. The cottage is clean, cozy and artfully decorated. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. "Wonderful home, very well stocked and cleaned. Great water, pressure, hot water. The perfect location on the river we had so much fun playing in the river for 2 1/2 days. Close enough to town if you needed anything from the store. We got Walmart Delivery a couple times which was just as quick as when we’re at home In a bigger city. This was truly one of the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. We are truly hoping to come back Every year!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat!"
