"Nice clean property, friendly staff and good value"
"This hotel was an overnight stop for us. We were three adults traveling with an infant, so we booked a 2 queen suite. The room was clean, the breakfast was very good. We attempted to book the room for a stop on our way home, but it was sold out."

"can not say enough good: outside is clean and in good repair. lobby spacious, clean, welcoming. gentleman at check-in, we saw he was having to deal with a lot but did not fail at a nice smile and kind words, plus graciously solved a problem with our type of reserved room not available. cleaning service lady he asked to bring some extras to second room was a kind and lovely as though she was our favorite aunt. when we came up to the room, she was already there(!) and had the needed items for the alternate room style. room was nice and we now place it in the top 3 rooms in which we have ever been able to truly relax & rest. breakfast: veeery nice! very nice range of offerings and ladies running were hustling to ensure fresh & plentiful supply while greeting guests with kind smiles. then while one of my daughters was making a coffee, a cleaning service gal walked by and offered sweet help and got her one of the cardboard sleeves for the cup.
then the framed artwork! very nice & lovely respect to location of Mount airy and Andy Griffith. our room had works with the cute barber theme, then noticed some of the pieces in the lobby so we took time to walk throughout the main floor (even a wall by elevator was given attention with a nice photo of Mr Griffith). much gratitude to all who tend to this hotel, you each & together have made a very special place to stay.
