“The lodge is in a beautiful setting, the rooms were clean and with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The staff are friendly and helpful. The local area is not particularly good, but a short tuk-tuk ride will take you into central Bahir Dar.”

“We loved Afro Addis so much the first time we stayed there that it was the first place we booked on our second trip to Ethiopia. It is nestled in a wonderful neighborhood that is away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. “6 of us had headed to Addis for a stag-do. Their massive aparthotel-type rooms did the job for us. 3 massive rooms with 6 beds and a large living room sufficed for all our shenanigans. However I give 3 stars instead of 5 because there were many power outages and the hotel didn't have any back-up power. Come on Archi, invest in an electricity generator. ”
