"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."

However, gite itself was wonderful- clean, tidy & every convenience. However had it been made clear about the steep narrow road & no parking, we would not have chosen this property. "Lovely cottage with everything you need for a self catering holiday and really cosy. Yport still retains its village atmosphere, it has a few nice shops for your supplies and a pebble beach to enjoy. The only disappointment was the small garden which had been neglected and was overgrown, we weeded and tidied it up for our use. We would all return without hesitation."

Das Ferienhaus, ein umgebautes Stallgebäude, liegt am Rand eines großen parkartigen Grundstücks mit Blick in die umliegenden Felder. "Die Lage ist hinreißend, das Haus sehr alt und mit sehr schönen Details, wie den Kaminsimsen und den alten Fenstern mit Blumenkästen. Leider ist vieles sehr lieblos eingebaut um den modernen Ansprüchen zu genügen, die Dusche schimmelt zB und läuft durch (tropft auf die Treppe drunter). Auch die Küche könnte neu gemacht werden. Insgesamt wirkt das Haus und vor allem die Zimmer auf den Fotos größer als real. Bleibt ein sehr gemischter Eindruck."
