Breathtaking view from high above Beaver Lake. Pet-friendly so we were able to bring our Sheltie who also felt right at home with so much space to roam inside. Wayne, in the office, Is a charming man! He was accommodating and a delight to speak with! He made excellent dining recommendations and was able to get us into our room 2 hours early! We didn’t ask for that. When I booked our stay, I thought I was getting a private cabin but what I got was a lake view suite that was part of a bigger main cabin. My mistake but was still worth it. The big jacuzzi tub and the view of the lake were to die for. The room was extermley clean and very comfortable. There was a small kitchen area that made us get creative with our dinners bc it was a hot plate and a microwave. Which we rather enjoyed bc we stayed simple and it gave us an opportunity to go to a hometown grocery store about 30 mins up the road. People everywhere are so friendly too! The only small downfall for the room is the bathroom needed some repairs. But that is visual and didn't bother us. Just noticeable. All in all we enjoyed the stay and would go back in a heart beat.
