Overall, always a pleasant stay. This time, kitchen roll was missing, and it would be good to have more than one washing tablet for the dishwasher, as well as some extra coffee pods. thanks

Perfect for a business trip base

A little diagram would have helped to find the key box but got there with the help of a neighbour! Nice touch to have a pint of milk waiting in the fridge. Excellent place to stay and I've already recommended to colleagues

The cottage is a cute little place to stay. Low ceilings and doorways, open beams all add to the charm. Unfortunately I feel the property is incorrectly advertised as pet friendly. Following booking the accommodation, and less than 24 hours before check in I received a message from to property stating that pets were not allowed upstairs or on any furniture. I don’t consider this pet friendly. On arrival, while browsing the property information book, there is a whole page of rules for the “pet friendly” cottage such as exercising your pet outside the garden. This property is bearly pet tolerant and had this been clear up front, I would have booked elsewhere. Also detailed is using the dishwasher to ensure cutlery and crockery is left clean after your stay. We had to wash everything before use as it was dirty. No washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets or shower gel were left, so we contacted the property and requested some. They brought some later in the afternoon. The lounge window couldn’t be opened, the other window fasteners were not fixed properly so having windows open was difficult which led to it being very hot. The bathroom extraction fan was covered is dust and detritus, there were greasy hand prints on the glass shield of the stairs and an unpleasant stain on a lampshade in the bedroom. We also found the over complicated combined microwave, oven and grill difficult use and no instructions were provided. The astroturf is very uneven and unsafe.

An Absolute Gem!

Absolutely delightful! This beautiful cottage is perfect - best nights sleep in a long time and the garden was an added surprise. The furnishings were superb and everything is catered for. Ideally located for shops, restaurants and university. If you are coming by car there is a car park 1 min away. Loved it!
