“It was a delight, with beautiful Great Pond and inlet close by. The house itself is rustic, spacious and comfortable. Its L.L. Bean history added to the charm. The space heaters were welcome. The location, on a spit of land near the end of a long dirt road, but convenient to the Belgrade Lakes town center, was most enjoyable. We'd definitely recommend it.”

Driftwood Cottage provides a perfect base for visits to the area with great access to Augusta and Waterville while sitting in the idyllic Belgrade Lakes region.We don’t visit Maine for fancy, we want practical, comfortable, clean and convenient and this house that in spades. First the view: The cottage has an amazing view of the lake, sitting at the kitchen table there is a huge window and it feels like you are right on the water.
