“We had such a relaxing stay at this cabin. The property is incredibly peaceful, and the neighbors are friendly but respectful of privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with essentials like paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and large towels, which made settling in so easy. It’s a great spot for guests of all ages, and we truly felt at home. We’re already planning to book this cabin again next year!”

“Classic Maine camp, beautiful area!Really enjoyed our stay! Only minor complaint would be the amount of cobwebs and bugs inside the camp.”

“This is truly a vintage cottage with a private waterfront setting.The cottage is very comfortable. I was there with my two goldens, plenty of room for them to swim and run. This would be a great spot for a family with young children. My only disappointment: I was expecting a kayak as pictured in the listing.”

“This home on Dam Pond was the best! Very clean, and fully equipped. Loved the deck and waterfront listening to the loons. Super quiet and relaxing. Had everything we needed. Brenda and Peter were great hosts. Even brought us coffee!! Would definitely come back.”

“Wonderful cottage and property! We enjoyed relaxing on the vast screened-in front porch, direct access to the lake and beach, and taking advantage of the amenities provided such as the kayaks, paddle board, fire pit, and grill. Hosts were very responsive and kind. ”

“Cottage was quaint but with everything one would need for a fun and relaxing week…watercraft, grill, dock for fishing or sitting, comfortable beds, and an air conditioner for the humid days and nights. A loon pair and chick, bald eagle, osprey, heron, and multiple hummingbirds were a treat! Will look to be back next summer!!”

“We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, reading, hiking, listening to the loons, playing games and watching movies on the one rainy day we had. We especially appreciate that we were able to bring our dog who also had a great time! ”

“This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys. Loved the rinnai for those cold mornings. Washer/dryer on premises. Only suggestion - microwave was old and hard to figure out and should probably be...

“Amazingly beautiful spot and fantastic hosts! Super clean and thoughtfully equipped with all the boats and gear. The porch is serene and has a picnic table and a cozy futton. A note that for folks with mobility issues, the small bathroom space may not be ideal.”

“This was our 2nd stay at this property. That says a lot! The cabin is wonderful. The "pond" is lovely (I call it a lake). The area is so quiet. The location is very non-commercial, however, we were 15 minutes away from restaurants, a major grocery store and gas. It was the perfect place for us to hang out, canoe (and watch mama, papa and baby loon) and chill on the dock. But, the coast is an easy hour drive. There are many great hikes in the Belgrade Lakes region. There's even an amazing Antique...

“The house was lovely and contained numerous thoughtful amenities. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our Great Pyrenees, and the proximity to the water (Dam Pond) was ideal. Sunsets were truly beautiful. One suggestion for future visitors would be a BBQ grill. We truly enjoyed our stay, and the owner, Elizabeth, was helpful and amiable. We would definitely consider a return. Our biggest problem was the 8-9 hour drive from NJ.”
