Clean updated room, decent breakfast. Nice for family overnight stay

Such a cool place to stay. Love the history of the building yet had modern amenities. Good location.

The view is beautiful. The grounds are full of flowering perennials and shrubs. The wraparound porch is hard to leave! Breakfast was delicious, staff were helpful, room was spotless and airy. Nice silky sheets. Little extras like snacks and soft drinks.

After a nightmarish travel day in which our flight was cancelled and we had to have an overnight layover, the hotel was gracious enough to save our room, and were extremely helpful in making us comfortable. This was especially helpful because we both ended up sick while there, and needed to have a nice place to recover. The room was quiet, the staff was terrific, the amenities were awesome and the location couldn't be better. It's right across the street from the bus and rail station.

Sunday River is a cozy, friendly place to stay. The staff was helpful and attentive. I had the pool, hot tubs and gym all to myself. The rooms and appliances are dated yet functional. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was pleasant.
