Needs TLC. Broken lock on door off the kitchen you have to use a board in the track of the sliding door. Hallway bathroom keeps running you have to jiggle the handle. 1/2 the house has no air conditioning. And had a big problem with ants in the master bedroom. Hot tub don't work. The house is big and nicely furnished and a nice back yard but it's a heck of a walk to the ocean.

Awful
The house was awful. I wouldn't even rate it a 1 because it was so bad. There was no cell phone reception in the house. We had to use internet calling. There was no tv reception - only limited streaming. The carpets were stained everywhere. Ants were invading bathtubs and sinks everywhere. Major things didn't work. The stove/oven was malfunctioning. The door of the oven had a large gap in the door, so oven never came to temperature. Ruined a $110 prime rib roast. We had to get an extended Bic lighter to light burners and when lit they couldn't be regulated. The heater for the living areas (living room, dining room, kitchen and family room) was a joke. It was a hotel -type room heater that could not possibly heat the large living areas. It was cold all the time. In addition, we had a power outage that lasted nearly two days. We could see our breath in the house. With a 2 month old baby, we were very concerned that she would get sick. The power was out so that meant the lights, water, toilets, and cell phone did not work. With 4 adults and 1 baby this was unbearable. Vacassa, the property manager was worthless. They did not have any emergency provisions in the house and no back up power or back up water pump for the house. Owner's adult children dropped by but didn't provide much in the way of provisions. They had to be asked to get water. We called to be put up elsewhere and were told that can't be done. I asked for refund on the 2 days with power outage and they said it was not possible. I am angry about this stay. I would like to be compensated by a refund of at least half of our stay. We have never had a problem with VRBO before but this was hideous. I expect a refund.

Nice place, miles of dunes
This is a great house with lots of space. Not fully fenced, but lots of yard space for dogs and kids. The ocean is a LONG walk through deep sand and dunes, but lots of nice, accessible beaches a short drive away. It was quiet and beautiful there. The house was clean but not too pristine for dogs and people coming in and out. :)

Plenty of room inside and outside. Large kitchen with most items you would need to cook. Close to many nice beaches. A little run down, but we didn't mind.

Outdated
I would have left a good review but it was not what I thought. This house is on a Well so if the power goes out due to wind you have no water, which happened to be the case when we arrived. The good: the grounds have plenty of room in the back for outdoor activities. The house is spacious inside. It has a usable firepit in the back. They mow the lawn. It has a BBQ. Close to Fort Bragg. The bad: no beach access from the property. upon entry of the house you could smell a mildew musty smell throughout the house we had to open it up to air it out. The house is heavily dated. The grounds are overgrown around the house and not maintained well. There is another house 25 feet from the front door behind the garage. After fees and taxes it's NOT a place I would choose again as there other places that seem to offer better accommodations at the same rate.

Overall, very happy. Carpet is super dirty and needs deep cleaning. Stating that there are 3 bathrooms when one is the laundry room is a little deceptive. Part of why we rented this particular home was the 3 bathrooms. Getting dressed for a wedding in the laundry room is not ideal. If it were a little more clean, we would happily return as it’s a beautiful spot!

Big house
Very large house, with lots of room. Great floor plan with open layout. I would caution anyone with small kids/toddlers/babies that there is a LOT of glass in this house (coffee table, several glass cabinets) that are not toddler friendly. The kitchen was practically empty except for pots, pans. There was hardly anything else, no foil or plastic wrap, and very little for plastic containers, making storing any leftovers very different. The stove has two burners that do not lite on their own, and one burner that has flames coming out the bottom (we didn’t use the 4th burner) and it took 40 minutes for water to come to a boil to cook pasta. The carpet is dated and very stained, and the couch in the family room is broken (as others have recently noted) the bathtub in one of the bathrooms the stopper is slightly too small and the water drains. One of the bedroom doors doesn’t close properly either. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again. Also, I asked the PM company of there was a pack n play at the house and they told me no, and when we got there one was in the master closet, which is irritating when I bring a larger item and I didn’t have to.

Perfect for a girls weekend
We absolutely loved this house. It's huge and setup perfect for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is massive and the yard was beautiful. The huge sand dunes behind the house was pretty neat too. Sad that we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub (darn covid) but it looked great. Will definitely stay here again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very nice and well equipped. Do not miss the short hike through the dunes to the beach! The only "but" is that the internet connection is a bit fluctuating, but overall, it is OK. We will be happy to come back.

I would have just one suggestion and that would be to have a few more bath towels available. When you have teenage girls with lin hair they each need two towels not one.

Fun family vacation
This house was perfect for my family of 6 plus our yellow lab and 2 family friends. The hot tub was a great ending to each day, especially after the walk to the beach through the dunes. My kids and dog loved running around the big back yard. The fire pit and bbq were great for s'mores and dinner. The kids loved having wifi for their devices and Netflix on the TV. This place was big enough for us to enjoy our own space and also be together playing games at one of the 3 tables or sitting around the fire pit.

It was a very nice comfortable home. I was a little disappointed in that it was advertised as ocean view but you could only hear the ocean from there. You could not even walk to the ocean without climbing over a huge sand dune.

Beautiful and spacious in a great location. Dishwasher lower rack needs mussing wheels replaced
Also one of the breakers is loose and the kitchen counter wall outlets weren’t working. A staff person came by and she figured it out. Needs attention! Otherwise , comfy beds , great decor, lots of towels . No laundry detergent though, even though it was listed . There is a bbq grill and that wasn’t listed. The FIRE PIT was WONDERFUL and there was nice wood provided. I would stay here again .

Best hot tub ever!
Our family of 6 had a great time at Sandrahla! It was very spacious, the beds very comfy. The location is warmer than the rest of Ft. Bragg which was an added bonus. Obviously we took full advantage of the hot tub. Would gladly stay here again.

Very comforting
Good value for groups over five. Large, clean, open floor plan, lots of kitchen equipment, very comfortable beds, big yard, wonderful hot tub. Five miles north of Fort Bragg. We were offered the opportunity to check out late for an extra fee which was very useful. Two caveats: Walking on the sand dunes behind the house is prohibited so you have to access the dunes from somewhere else. Also, there are no functional playing cards or board games.
