The room had been recently renovated and was clean, but the bedroom layout was awkward. A closet that served no purpose, having no doors or a clothing rack, took up valuable space, causing the double beds to be offset, with one positioned directly against the HVAC unit. Overall, the room design was poor. There was water damage on the ceiling directly above one of the beds, with the texture peeling away. It appeared as though it had been patched at some point, but not properly repaired. What I found most unpleasant, however, was the overwhelming odor upon entering the reception area, a mix of old building, cigarette smoke, and animal smells. The hallways leading to the rooms had a noticeable sewer odor. In the evening, a dog barked repeatedly, disturbing the peace. If odors aren’t an issue for you, this hotel might be fine, but I won’t be staying here again. There are too many other far better options.

The location and view of this property was excellent. The staff gave good dining recommendations. The fire pit at night with s’mores was nice. We were given a nice bouquet of flowers at time of check in. The morning breakfast was a bit different. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, cream cheese, yogurt and condiments and pastries. You were responsible to make your own breakfast in the kitchen.

The Ocean view is beautiful and tranquil. There were lots of families with kids running around. We are retired so we would def come again but in non peak family vacation period which we assume would be less noisy in the evenings.
