Becas Place is a contemporary, air-conditioned apartment in São Martinho, within Funchal's natural amphitheatre, a few kilometres from the city's historic centre — a good option for couples or families looking to combine a city holiday with moments of rest on the balcony or by the pool.

The apartment is on the 4th floor of a recently built residential building, with a swimming pool, garden and playground.

The apartment has an interior usable area of 57 m² and comprises a bedroom with a queen-size double bed, a living room with a dining table, a full kitchen, two bathrooms and a spacious balcony with views of the city and the sea and an outdoor dining table.

It also includes a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, a heater, Wi-Fi, a TV with international channels and other amenities for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The apartment is in São Martinho, in Funchal's amphitheatre.

A few minutes' walk away there are restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, shops and a pharmacy.

It is 600 m from the Continente supermarket, 2.3 km from the Lido bathing complex, 3 km from Funchal Marina and 4 km from Mercado dos Lavradores.

There are bus stops next to the building and easy access by car to Funchal's main roads and the expressway to discover the island.

The accommodation does not have parking available. Free parking is available on public streets nearby.

The building's pool is not heated, but it is open all year round, except during maintenance.

The building is in a quiet area, but there is construction work on a neighbouring building with potential moderate noise occasionally during the day.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
