“The lodges are about 10 minutes from the town of Helen. They were quiet and peaceful. Room was nice and comfortable. The owners, the Johnson family were very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The property has a large (~5 acres) backyard that you can explore with your pet. We took our dog along and he enjoyed the woods. The town of Helen was also mostly pet friendly and had multiple restaurants that allowed dogs (patio sitting). We look forward to returning again……

“We were riding the BDR and decided to stay in Ellijay. It was a Saturday night and a lot of activity in downtown Ellijay. Who would’ve thought such a small town would have this much going on? I would’ve given this place five stars, but it didn’t have a washer and dryer to wash my motorcycle gear. It was $100 a night through Expedia, which I thought was a little high, but I attribute it to a weekend rate. It was a clean room, nice beds and the bathroom was remodeled. I would definitely stay here……

“The people working the front desk were very friendly but unfortunately my room was not very clean. The first thing I noticed was a smell in my room. There was think dust built up on the baseboard. It just felt like the room has never been thoroughly cleaned. Based on what I saw in the room I did not feel comfortable eating the breakfast there the next morning.
