Candlewood Cottage is a lovingly designed decorated log home where 'rustic meets romantic.' Relax in the open concept upper level featuring a queen size sofa sleeper (new in May 2025), vaulted ceiling, etched and stained glass windows, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, a charming living area with gas fireplace, tasteful regional artwork, log furniture, HD Smart TV, a full bath and a closet with cedar shake roof. Step out thru the atrium door to the upper deck and enjoy the large hot tub, gas grill, plants and birdhouses where woods and the National Park serve as your back yard ensuring privacy and peaceful moments. Carpeted stairs lead you to the lower level featuring a new king size bed with new Simmons Premium mattress, casual furniture, a glowing electric stove, jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, HD Smart TV, another full bath and full-length deck with rustic furniture. Candlewood Cottage is conveniently located just 25 yards from the club house and pool. It offers privacy without being remote, personality in its decor, and all of the candlelight, firelight, sunlight and moonlight you might desire. We always enjoy staying at Wayne’s cabin. The outside view is beautiful from the two back porches. If you like watching and listening to wildlife, this is the perfect place for you! A small bear came to visit a few times and we also saw a larger bear walking down the road at a distance. They didn’t pose as a threat. You will enjoy your stay in this peaceful cabin!

Exceptional cabin

The cabin was everything we were looking for, quiet area, clean, close to Gaitlinburg, Pigeon Forge and was just a beautiful property over all!! We will definitely be back!

Place had roaches. Messages owner and he claims to have stayed there and just left the day before and saw no bugs. We ended up leaving early because of the bugs. There’s no way you could stay here and not see them unless you’re blind. They were on the fridge, counter, floor and even in the dishwasher. Ants all over the counter and sink. I can deal with ants but not roaches.

There were two smashed where the refrigerator seal is on the fridge

This is a smashed baby one that was literally in their welcome book

Checkin was smooth, the property was clean, the hot tub was very relaxing. The proximity to Gatlinburg is fantastic, we very much enjoyed sitting on the deck. My only regret is not booking a longer stay! We will book again!

Me and my spouse loved our stay at this beautiful cabin, it was very cozy and relaxing loved our short time here. The hot tub was amazing and we would definitely stay here again next time we stay in Gatlinburg.

Gatlinburg getaway

Decorated nicely, comfortable bed, roomy enough, everything included. Very nice! Would stay there again. I would suggest a hand railing going up the porch steps. Other than that, it was perfect!

Bear-y Cozy

It was such a lovely experience staying at this cabin! It’s such a quaint place in a great location. You get the enjoyment of a cabin stay while still being close to others for safety. And the amount of bears in the cabin, from the pictures to all the stuffed animals make it so cute! It has nice amenities and a really nice back patio to enjoy the Tennessee breeze. We’ll definitely stay again!
