“The house was lovely and well suited for our group of 11. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make meals. We loved cooking and eating fresh lobster! My kids enjoyed having a tv in their own room. Bailey Island is an amazing place to explore - especially the Giant Stairs and walking to the water at different times of day. We also day tripped to Acadia, explored Boothbay Harbor, and loved Brunswick.”

“Friendly Cottage was beyond amazing for my week long getaway with my 2 daughters. The location and views can’t be beat and the house was perfectly laid out and equipped with everything we needed. We lucked out with incredible weather so found ourselves on the beach almost every morning and evening. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Everything about our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the views, kayaking on the lake, seeing the stars, and listening to the loons. The location is perfect...close to the town, beaches, and trails, but also quietly secluded for that perfect peaceful getaway. The house was extremely clean, inviting, and comfortable. Wendy was a very generous and gracious host and made sure our stay was special. We can't wait to visit again”

“Great location and interesting layout in this historic house. It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. Since we were still in the area, he left them on the porch for us to retrieve, which...

“Memorial Day Weekend, came from Upstate NY to see friends and family. Dont stray too far. Everything you need is with 15 minutes. Must do's Hawkes Lobster and Holbrook's Wharf! House was nice and walking out on dock high and low tide to some of is that have never experienced it is amazing. Much redoect to the men and women that keep the wharf going!”
