The room, 2 bed suite, was nice, clean with balcony looking over the marina. We had advised of only 2 persons. the suite could accommodate up to 6. Not sure if this was reason but kitchen was poorly equipped and may be utensils had been removed for our stay. Why would utensils be removed?
The public areas were clean, but lacking any facilities of any kind. No vending facilities a surprise considering no restaurant facilities. It should be pointed out that many coffee shops etc. within 5 mins. walk. No local tourist information available in the form of leaflets. One request for information was directed to reception desk who advised us to consult internet.
Staff, with odd exception, were helpful but 'surly'. did not appear to be very happy in there work. The reception desk was lacking in customer service skills, not happy and did not portray a pleasing attitude to customers.
Despite the apparent negative comments, we would use the hotel again if in the area.
