The room was clean & decorated very historically & nicely. The staff was friendly. I've stayed at B&B's before. When I book a bed & breakfast, I expect a bed & breakfast. Not a bed with bfast costing $18.00 extra. The B&B is in two different buildings, that's cool. But if you stay in the Welty house you have to litterly walk next door to access refrig or microwave. TV is in a bad spot. Worst of all is the parking. The walk from the house to the parking lot is up a very steep hill. Not good for old folks or those with handicap issues. My wife is handicap & did fall walking down the steep hill. Nope Brickhouse Inn, we will not be staying there again. The rooms were clean comfortable and the staff were accommodating. The only issue I had was that we paid more than $70 for the worst Ghost tour that we booked through the Brickhouse. It was my first time in Gettysburg and I was really looking forward to the tour.
