There was so many food options to choose from connected right to the hotel that it made things so much easier for this US customer!"

If you arrive early before your check in they will store your belongings in a safe and locked room! The rooms themselves were very well maintained and the view was great!"

"Without exception all employees were extremely pleasant and helpful. The person working security on the initial night of our 4 night stay went beyond the norm to show us to our room at midnight. She even suggested a safe place for our bicycles and helped us carry them. The next day Frank who is one of the first people a visitor encounters also went above and beyond by obtaining a luggage cart and loading our very heavy suitcase on it. All done with a cheerfullness that belies the effort it required. Finally, Gideon was a wonderful ambassador for the hotel. The visit was so exceptional that even though there are many other properties at which to stay in Rotterdam, the S.S. Rotterdam hotel will be my choice in the future."

"Location is good, close to Markthal, shopping street. Staff is helpful. Hotel is old and needs restoration like scratch marks on window pane and the rubber caulking is peeling off. Don't know what happened that Friday night. It seems cars were racing against each other. There were honking, backfiring, people shouting, yelling and went on till about 2am."
