Staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel very tired and shabby. Room nice but could have been cleaner. Stay ruined by loud music from nearby venue and an alarm going off loudly at 7.50am Sunday morning. Breakfast good.

Waited 45 minutes for an afternoon tea that was pre booked- had to chase up 3 times. No communication or care from the staff. Also had to wait similar time for dinner- it was chaotic with no apparent system. Lots of untrained new staff by the looks of it. Food was actually nice when it came but it was stressful getting it. However maintenance guy was extremely efficient attending our room and resolving an issue for us. Think this should be a 3 star hotel.
