4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"What a charming bed and breakfast! First the friendly staff makes you feel very welcomed to start. Then the clean comfortable spacious room and the lovely bed makes you feel home. And they immediately refresh you with some tea and cake soon after your arrival. The breakfast was lovely, and the swing on the front, the trail behind the house... All wonderful! I also ordered the picnic for the hike, and it had enough to feed four for just the two of us. I would definitely recommend."

Prices for B&Bs in Glendalough often vary, but you can find a great deal from $109 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Glendalough B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a Bed & Breakfast in Glendalough?
The best time to book a B&B in Glendalough is during the late spring to early summer months, specifically from May to June. This period showcases the stunning natural beauty of the Wicklow Mountains as vibrant flora comes to life, providing an idyllic backdrop for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. With mild temperatures hovering between the mid-50s to low 70s Fahrenheit, this season is great for leisurely hikes around the crystal-clear lakes and ancient monastic ruins that Glendalough is famous for.

As you explore the area, you'll find that May offers a slightly quieter experience, ideal for those who appreciate a more serene atmosphere while still enjoying pleasant weather. The trails are less crowded during this shoulder month, allowing for more intimate encounters with the breathtaking scenery, whether you're wandering through the lush greenery or taking in the panoramic views from the higher elevations.

For travelers looking to save a bit, visiting Glendalough in the off-peak month of December can also be rewarding. While the weather is chillier, ranging from the mid-30s to low 50s Fahrenheit, the serene winter landscape creates a magical setting for cozying up by a fire in your B&B after a day of exploring.
