“Just has a nice view of the hotel. But this hotel only has the basic facitilities. Basic room with a bed, closet and a small table. ”

“Quite disappointed with our stay at the Strand. Outlets didn’t work, shower would leak and cover the whole bathroom floor, bed and pillows were quite uncomfy. There is barely anybody ever at the front desk, the front door was locked on multiple occasions and we had to wait around for somebody to come open it. We understand it’s a heritage building and we’re looking forward to the quirks that came with that but for the price paid - we were not happy.”

“El hotel es grandioso, tiene vistas espectaculares y tiene un recinto histórico muy impresionante. El Staff es amable pero no el más servicial, ni muy funcionales, fuera de la gran calidad de hotel, el personal podría tener mejor actitud y buscar apoyar un poco más al huésped.”

“Unfortunately we were allocated a room on the ground floor, sandwiched between a staff cleaning room and a meeting room. The safe did not work, the room looked out onto a rough area at the back of the hotel, staff wheeled rubbish outside the window every day creating a lot of noise. After our first night, we went out until 3.30pm leaving the sign on the door to say it was free for cleaning. When we returned and it had not been cleaned, we asked reception why and were informed staff are……
