“Beautiful Sunsets, older cabin, not too steep of a drive up, outside deck is nice and fire pit area out front! Harper’s Ferry Area is cute and full of history! Be in shape to hike and climb while you are here, especially if you plan on doing a ghost walk after walking the town all day! 5 friends girls trip was great! ”

“went here for my 34th birthday. my husband and i. last minute plans. we normally travel, all in all this was surprisingly the best getaway that i’ve ever had and most relaxing. i was afraid of being cold due to me being anemic altho i saw that there was a heat. i saw a review that the heat wasn’t enough so i did bring my own small portable heater . i did complain about the cold ! until my husband found that button (turbo) haha . to this was my fault . i just wanted to complain i guess . but when……

“Spacious, great hot tub, comfortable beds. Linens, towels and coffee included. Lots of room to spread out! The host communicated well and made the check in and check out process easy. There are a few areas of the cabin that show wear but nothing that bothered us or hindered our stay. ”

“The property was more run down than we expected.The photos definitely need to be updated. Although we were a tad disappointed as we had booked the cabin for our elopement, we made the best of it and enjoyed our time. We woke up every morning to amazing sunrises and ended each night soaking in the hot tub. ”

“Easy communication with the host. Hot tub did not work, which was disappointing, but the rest of the house was as advertised. Would return if the hot tub worked.”

“This property was perfect for our peaceful retreat. Traveling with babies can always be daunting, but i was pleasantly surprised by all the baby amenities at the cabin. There were baby plates, bowls, and utensils. Even though we did plan ahead and bring our own highchairs, we did notice there were actually options for highchairs at the cabin already! Also, the host was amazingly quick and friendly with all communication.”

“The house was just as it was advertise. We were very close to Harper’s Ferry on a very quiet street. Just wished there was more than one kitchen towel and that the propane for the bar-b-cue wasn’t empty. But Walmart wasn’t too far away to buy more. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. The communication and the guestbook were wonderful. The view was gorgeous and the property was clean and comfortable. ”

“Host very responsive to requests. Place has been updated and has many nice amenities. Great view!!! We went in fall and colors were spectacular. While updated, the place does have some quirks which are to be expected. Beware of the shower (curtained claw bath tub) on the 2nd floor. Bathtub can be slippery and difficult to get in/out for some. ”
