"Well the VRBO website was down so check in was difficult and the owner was unavailable at the time we arrived. The cabin inside was clean but you should plan on bringing TP, paper towel and things like that. (There are stores nearby ) The control for the AC is not in the downstairs cabin where we stayed so we got hot at night and the porch facing the lake had not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The price and the location made up for the inconveniences so I’d definitely book again."

"Adorable cabin at the end of the lane. Excellent amenities, front porch was where we spent most of or time. Sweet little getaway for a couple or small family in excellent condition. However, it is small; one bedroom doubles as the television room. There are no laundry facilities, and no place to really "unpack." The only dining area is on the porch. "This stay was everything I wanted out of weekend fishing/camping trip and more. Beautiful property, lots of wildlife and an all around perfect place to casually enjoy the outdoors just north of Birmingham. We only stayed 1 night in one of the cabins but packed in a ton of fishing with a few buddies of mine and caught around 75 fish total. We enjoyed the expansive wrap round porch in the evening and morning with shared meals with the guys. Donald was so great to us and communicated...

"The owners/property managers thought of everything! We packed s’mores and board games/cards, but the home already had that waiting for us! The house was clean and rooms comfortable. Easy access to the water and floating dock with kayaks and a paddle boat. We had campfires every night with wood which was provided, and spent our days on the water.
