Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I am going to start with the hosts. They make the place. The couple are amazing. Very friendly and kind. They work to give a good service and they exceed that. The breakfast has variety and adding hand made apple sauce(very delicious). They offered me different type of milks for my coffee. They also had a variety of juices. Very clean place and have particular decoration and you can buy stuff from their house. The house is old and something are antiques but everything works. They offers a heart shape jacuzzi in a separate bathroom with toilet. The only thing the bathroom is shareable. It's different and there is not noise from the traffic or people. very Natural and quiet.
Jack and Becky are warm and welcoming. The barn is close to many attractions near the lake. Guests live downstairs and the owners upstairs. The breakfast and cat are great.
The room and the whole barn are all wood, very stylish and interesting for city people like me. There is also an interesting heart-shape bathtub without the above-head showing faucet.
Very Pleasant, welcoming house and host. The Inside of the barn is homey, you can cook your meals, Watch tv, buy souvenirs and antiques. The outside is beautiful, the cat is sooooo friendly ! The breakfast is huge and very good. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay very much !
We had booked way in advance so that we wouldn't miss out on a chance in a life time experience, and since we had never before stayed in a Bed and Breakfast; we were looking forward to something different. Our hosts were super helpful with giving us tips to better view the eclipse, where to go, how to get there, gave us advice on what /where to go and see in the the area and provided fabulous breakfast for us and the other guests. The whole experience was a perfect blend of privacy and family, since Jack and Rebecca made us feel a part of their family during our stay. And as a side note note, they have a couple of adorable cats that would greet us every time we would go outside and want to make us feel at home too!
My husband and I had the place to ourselves in this four-room bed and breakfast. The proprietor was very friendly, helpful, and solicitous of fulfilling our needs. We were there for genealogical research, so we wanted to stay in this specific town, and this bed & breakfast fit the bill perfectly. The price was quite reasonable for the facilities provided. The commons area doubled as an antiques / curio shop, but there were no customers at the shop during our visit, as far as we saw. The only thing I might not like, if there were more guests, was the fact that there were only two bathrooms, shared by the four bedrooms. I would stay there again, if I come back to the area.

Unique Accomadations
Jack was a very gracious and accomodating host. Very unique accomodations- renovated old barn, very rustic and country. Plenty of added room with kitchen and living room community space.
We were looking for a quiet place to recharge, but still be close to more urban things to do. The Red Barn Inn fit perfectly. We rode a riverboat and saw historical sites in Hannibal and then relaxed at the Inn. Jack and Becky are wonderful hosts.
Kennedy's Red Barn Inn is a perfect get away; clean, quiet, and unobtrusively friendly. Easy driving distance to Hannibal and situated very ideally near Mark Twain Lake - complete with fishing guide inhouse! Quite convenient for St. Louis and eastern IL., but folks as far away as California have an annual reservation! Once you've stayed you'll want to go back too...and the rates are a total steal (the more rooms/folks, the deeper the discount). Check them out right now and get on their calendar!
Very comfortable stay. About a half hour south of Hannibal, MO and the Mark Twain tourist attractions. Gas, groceries about fifteen minutes away in Perry, MO. I had the lodge to myself. Great breakfast, enjoyable stay in trinket filled wood paneled rustic red barn lodge. They have two baths, one with hot tub, and four rooms, so in most cases if they are not full you can have a private bath.
A quick get a way from home to celebrate our 50th anniversary
We stayed at the Red Barn Inn last Thurs. Fri. and Sat. night Oct 30- Nov. 1, 2014 and we could not have stayed in a nicer place. Jack and Becky are wonderful hosts, very friendly and fun to visit with. The Inn is really a lovely home. The breakfast they served every morning was delicious. If we get the chance to go back, we would stay there again and recommend to anyone going to Hannibal, Mo. or that area to book a room, you will enjoy it very much. Thank you Jack and Becky for making our stay so enjoyable. Jim and Judy Wells
We stayed here for a weekend get away . We had so much fun and seriously we were treated like family. This is a large, very well decorated barn with a guest kitchen to use in what ever way you need to. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked with anything you can think of. The breakfast is the old fashion country style and more then plenty to go around. Jack and Becky are just wonderful , and we had a great conversation with them . All around a wonderful weekend .
