My room has a lot of windows and is very spacious. I understand it is in a rural area but the property was quite dingy. Not sure why it is required to contact the property for check in instructions when it can be emailed ahead of time. You simply walk in, find your name on a board, and go to the room. The room is basic as expected reading other reviews. You can hear others fairly easily throughout the house. The other travelers were ill mannered and left towels and hair in the shower. On the room key there is a wood block with your room number carved into it, be sure to hold it while unlocking your door or it may wake the house. Luckily my room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Not sure I will be staying again unless I am in a pinch. A very cosy and comfortable farmhouse. The host was welcoming and thoughtful. Providing us with many necessary amenities.
