We ate most meals on our patio. We didn't have to pack a cooler because we were walking distace to our room. Beach was never crowded. Very peaceful area. Loved everything. ##### Christine R. Quiet area, older complex but comfortable, air conditioner was cold, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, kitchen had what we needed, pool was literally right out back door, older but very nice. Stayed last week of August and the weather was perfect. Island was least inhabited we have ever experienced. We brought our bikes and enjoyed long bike rides on the north end. It is good for a short stay, as the kitchen is stocked with essentials (don’t plan on gourmet meals). We had wished there were more plastic cups (4) and more dishes (4), but I guess that was matched to occupancy level. The cottage was decorated, but cabinets needed to be refreshed. More seating in the family room could be accommodated and would’ve been nice. ##### Danielle A. We were offered an unreasonable option that basically forced us to cancel our reservation. We had already paid air tickets and committed to other expensys and to not loose more money we had to rent another location and because of short notice, most of the properties were sold out and we ended up paying 1000 in another location not same standard, AMI is the company managing the rental and it became very clear that they are not reliable, with no back up plan that can protect the customers, other than provide the refund. Nov 11, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy #### Our review for Coconut stay It is a little hard to rate this vacation rental. We loved the location, right on the beach. Everything was as described. A few things we had problems with this rental. 1\. The entrance is in the back of the building, and poorly lit. 2\. There was no curtain on the window on the door. 3\. The curtains covering the big front windows did not cover the whole window. 4\. They had a coffee maker but no filters...cant buy a small pack of them. 5\. The blinds in the bedroom allowed visibility inside from the outside. These are all small things that could easily be fixed, except for the back entrance. 6\. Our 5th morning, we had a major leak at the bottom of the toilet, as the water from the bathtub emptied out!! This happened before 8 am. We got clean towels because we used towels to soak up the water after 12! Plumbers came sometine later. It was disturbing to have strangers come in when we weren't there. But we didn't want to just sit there till they came. We asked for a partial refund. The manager was nice, but told us there would be no refund. He offered a 10% discount on our next visit. To start, the pool is literally 20 feet from the front door. I absolutely love that. The beach was maybe 50 feet away. To "go to the beach" you don't even need to pack anything if you don't want to. You can just take a towel and just walk back to the condo if you need something. It's that close. If you are staying in after getting too much sun the TVs in the space are great. Often times you find condos giving you small out of date TVs. That was not the case here. I titled this review "Almost There" because there are a few minor things they could do to take the space from good to great. - There was no lighting in the living room. We ended up bringing a bedroom lamp our to the living room. - Another cushioned chair in the living room would have been nice. - There was a lack of blankets in the condo. Just a sheet and bed spread on the bed, but nothing else. It would have been nice to have something to use while watching a movie. - The bathroom sink is lower than most and the toilet is small. Up to this point in life I thought toilets only came in one size. I now know that there are at least two sizes. While there were a few things that could use attention, none of them were deal breakers. We plan to book this space again next year. The location is that perfect. One last thing that would be helpful would be if there were accessible outlets outside to plug in golf carts for charging. There is one outlet on each side of this building but you have to climb through the bushes to get to it. ##### Josh B.
