"Vi fik et værelse helt oppe under kvisten med en stor dobbeltseng og to enkelt senge til trods for at vi kun var to personer. En sofa var placeret meget mærkværdigt bag et skab, og værelset var på ingen måde hyggeligt. Værelset havde ingen aircondition og kun et lille vindue, og det var 35 grader varmt udenfor. "What a stunning hotel - most people walk by the outside, not realizing that this is an amazing building from the 16th century. A walk into the main lobby, entry hallway and dining hall alone is amazing. The staff was extremely helpful, and the rooms were impeccably historic in detail down to the polished hardwood knotted floors. This place Service a decent breakfast, which was more than adequate for an early start to go see the town. The big plus that people don’t realize is that taxis are allowed to come to this hotel right to the doorstep and one does not need to drag suitcases over cobblestone streets, like to some of the other hotels in Cheske Krumlav. Book a stay - except like us, do not stay just one night. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay."

Unfortunately it was very hot when we visited and didn’t have much airflow in our room. Everything was easy and wonderful though. "One of the cutest places I’ve ever stayed. The pictures don’t do it justice. The room was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. Even breakfast was fantastic. The weather was warm, so I requested a fan in advance, which they supplied. Only thing to keep in mind is that it’s located on a pedestrian lane, so with the windows open, you will hear passersby. No partiers, but something to consider if you’re extra sensitive. This spot earned its 10/10 for sure!"
