Overpriced in July – Clean Towels, But Not Much Else
We stayed here in June for €200 for two nights, and for that price, it was acceptable. The room was clean, and the white towels and linens were fresh and neat. If you’re just looking for a clean place to sleep, it does the job.
But we originally wanted to stay in July, and the price then jumps to €1900 for three nights — which is absolutely insane for what you actually get.
Here’s what to expect (or not expect) at that price:
No linen change during a 2-night stay — you’re using the same sheets from check-in to check-out.
Amenities are neglected: the barbecue area is dirty, and outside furniture like tables, chairs, and cups are broken and gathering dust. If you drink American coffee, you're given a plastic cup and a stir stick — but no spoon to scoop the grounds.
The toaster looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in centuries.
And then there’s the mini-bar situation:
€1 for a 500ml bottle of water not even cold
€4 for a mini tube of off-brand chips passed off as “Pringles” — not the real thing, and definitely not full-sized.
Even being near the racetrack doesn’t justify this kind of pricing. At nearly €700 per night, you’re not getting anything beyond basic cleanliness — and even that stops short of decent service.
Final verdict: The towels may be clean, but the experience isn’t worth the price tag. At these rates, you can — and should — find somewhere far better.
