Loved staying at Cross Inn! Stayed one night while going through Lewis and Harris and it was exactly what we needed. Quiet and comfortable bed and breakfast and perfect location. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Lewis!

Booked the Cross Inn because it s kind of at the "end of the world" near the Butt of Lewis and had great reviews. It didn't disappoint. Wonderful staff, cozy stay, full Scottish breakfast, plenty of hot water in the shower, can't thank these folks enough for their kindness and dedication.

Comfortable and friendly Inn

Lovely and comfortable lttle Inn. Food was lovely with nice choice on menu, vegans catered for too. Staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. Lovely stay for 2 nights, would definitely book again

The Cross Inn is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the barn pub- a fun setting and excellent food. WiFi was great in bar but non existent in our room. Highly recommend it to other travelers.

Great little pub and b&b

This is a great little b&b. Lovely, helpful staff, clean & comfortable rooms. It’s handy to have the restaurant and bar right there as food options so high up on the island make choices limited. There is also a handily placed laundrette just over the road for travelers who have been on the road for a while. If you don’t mind being a bit far away from the main part of the island then this place is a great choice at a good price.

Although we were early for check in there was no where to wait, we asked where we could go which we were told of a nearby cafe... Breakfast excellent with great service, evening meal was fine..

Fresh feel to the room. Exceptionally clean. Only drawback is the lack of a chair (but understandable given the size of the room). Good breakfast and plenty of choice - food could have been a little hotter on the second morning of our stay.

This was a great place to stay when exploring the area around the Butt of Lewis and Europie Beach. Duncan and the team were great hosts - friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our dinner and drink in the bar. Breakfast was lovely & tasty (apart from inedible veggie sausages). Parking was easy. Highly recommend.

The property is pretty far from most amenities, it feels quite remote. Our first impression upon arrival wasn't great. We got there about an hour before check-in time as we'd been up very early for the ferry not long after arriving in Scotland from Canada and our 3 year old was tired. We were hoping for a chance of getting checked in a little bit early. The 'welcome' we got was not nice, it was just rude and abrupt and we were told it wasn't open (I think it was the owner). I can understand not being able to accommodate an early check-in but she was rude about it. After that we felt unwelcome there and the stay was awkward.

Un sitio precioso, la atención de 10, La habitacion monisima, con un monton de detalles ( leche fresca,the, café,galletas..) Cenamos y la comida muy elaborada. Detras de la propiedad tienen un Pub, de Old Barn Pub super divertido donde se reune la gente del puebo....Totalmente recomendable. Yo volveré seguro en mi próxima visita a la Isla de Lewis

Exceedingly dissatisfied, I highly recommended seeking accommodations elsewhere. This place is dishonest and not worthy of business. When a storm prevented travel due to the closure of ferry crossings I contacted the hotel and was told they would agree to cancel but I would need to get expedia to also cancel. I then booked another place not requiring a ferry. When expedia agreeded and contacted the Cross Inn they then refused so I was stuck with the bill. If they would have been honest up front I would have understood, but instead they lied. When I return to Lewis Harris I will avoid this place like the plague. I encourage others to avoid the Cross Inn so you dont experience the dishonesty I experienced.

A simple request for an earlier checkin (regularly scheduled at 4pm!) was reluctantly accepted but only for one hour earlier, and with a 10 gbp fee! I refused. Soundproof is next to non-existent. My bed was leaned to one side. It is clean, and the breakfast (served only at 8) was delicious.

部屋はとても清潔感があり、新しく、家具が可愛くて素敵でした。バスタブはありません。夕飯は併設されているパブで食べることができます。朝食は含まれていて、宿泊部屋の下の階でとることができます。 　周辺にはあまり観光できる場所はありません。ストーノウェィからのバスは目の前に止まります。

Excellent stay at the cross inn

A very comfortable room . Beautifully decorated. All little extras provided. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. We ate an evening meal in the pub which was also very good . Happily stay there again .
